Phase 02
Each group was instructed to progress their designs and ideas further with their imagery, layouts, and early digitizations. Imagery was fixed accordingly to each group member's liking in Photoshop. Layouts were created via individual and group sketches of how the months would be arranged. Finally, early digitizations for my group were done with InDesign to see how hypothetical designs would work.
Imagery
Note: All of the group's squares have been edited. The following images are general examples. A complete set of everyone's images will be displayed.
We all worked with Photoshop in order to smooth out the textures and cut marks that were on the construction paper. This was done by using the clone tool.

Layouts
The group met several times throughout the week. I had spent time with Stephanie the most in terms of sharing the layouts we sketching out independently. Her sketches (left section) included the idea of having the months in number order, so they would result in the form of a clock. The reasoning behind this was to symbolize the time that passes throughout the year. My sketches (right section) involved arranging the months by which ones popped out or caught the eye the most. I wanted to visually arrange them based off of how they appear, not with them in order. In the end Stephanie and I had the idea to combine the idea of a clock form, but using the months arranged in visuals instead of a traditional number order.
Early Digitizations
Amanda, Shelley, and Stephanie were present in the making of this digital design on InDesign. We downloaded the template that our professor provided us with. From there, we uploaded the raw/unedited versions of all 12 months. We continued with the clock and visual idea, and decided to rotate and differentiate scaling throughout the process. Some scaling was done in order to mirror features or colors that two or three designs had with one another. For example, the month of May (group of flowers) and August (bottom left corner below May) had similar shapes in certain corners. In order to mirror these, we rotated the months and creating some spacing in between them to let the eyes wander towards the months without being direct.
